Back at work and in my routine and finally have a moment to thank you for my family’s stay at the Riu Bavaro in Punta Cana, DR.
I cannot express strongly enough our complete satisfaction with the Riu Bavaro. Everything was to perfection. Our rooms were spotless with lots of thought to details, excellent housekeeping. The dining areas were spacious, beautifully decorated and the food fresh and scrumptious, with a wide variety of dining choices available. We all absolutely loved the interesting pool which was beachside. What a treat it was to swim with that breathtaking view of the ocean and palm trees.
The staff was attentive throughout our entire stay, ready at our beck and call. We joined in the many activities like the water aerobics, volleyball, kayaking, snorkeling to name a few. We were delighted to watch the cabaret performance under the stars and watch the fire dancers on the beach in the evening. Even the sports bar was a treat with fresh fruit and snacks available 24hrs., pool table and games.
There was something for everyone at the Riu Bavaro and I came back raving about our stay there. It was very sad to leave “Paradise” behind, but we look forward to re visiting with more of our friends in the near future.

I am a home-based travel agent with my own TRUE number and wanted to find a tour wholesaler/agency that would work with me and my many demands.
I was able to find this with the Caribbean Escape travel staff. Being home-based with no staff, the staff of Caribbean Escape were very helpful with the planning of the entire "Hall Milestone Birthday" trip to Punta Cana DR Aug 4-8, 2011.
We ran into a few small problems while there, but George and Vicky were right on top of all the issues. George even provided his personal cell number to make sure I could reach him with any issues.
Both George and Vicky were very professional in their handling of any issues that arose while on the trip. The group received A1 treatment from the Riu Palace Punta Cana Staff (many thanks to the banquet manager Magnolia and the staff that decorated the rooms of the birthday ladies) and airport transfer company.
I am now planning my next group trip to Aruba May 2012 with George and Vicky and look forward to the same great service.

We've returned from the Ocean Blue Resort Punta Cana FAM trip . We had a great time and thought as the tour operator you might want our feedback as travel agents:
We were in villa #6, but NOT on the 3rd floor facing the sea as promised. Instead they assigned us to room 6302 on the 2nd floor facing the pool.
The Ocean Blue Resort is beautiful and has a lot of potential: Location & beach is superb, entertainment surprisingly better than Iberostar and Sunscape the Beach. Their house wine was very good and the bartenders actually knew what they were doing. The restuarants were not memorable but the daily champagne & fresh crepe breakfast was an absolutely wonderful touch. With some improvements this property would be an excellent value.

Just a note to let you know waht a wonderful time my daughter and I had in Cabo. The Riu Palace was absolutely fabulous and stunningly beautiful. I highly revcommend the Krystal and Japanese resturaunts. The lobby bar has a bartender with a great singing voice and sense of humor. His name is Luis and he works from 7 to 3.The service was outstanding and very friendly. We celebrated my daugheter's 18th birthday at Krystal with special cake with candles that wouldn't blow out and champagne! What great memories We felt totally safe going into town and we got some great deals at one of the Hernandez Jewelry shops. Anyone looking for a great deal on fine jewelry should check them out.
Only one word of waning...do not talk to anyone at the airport. They are all time share people who try to take up your vacation with lures of freebies. Otherwise if you go to Cabo and stay at the Riu Palace, you're guarenteed a great time!

We have recently returned from a fabulous group vacation to Costa Rica. On our arrival we were welcomed by our travel guide who added interesting history and cultural information through out the trip. The transportation to our resorts were in air condition buses with plenty of comforts; on one commute, we were able to watch a movie on the DVD player. We stayed at 2 excellent resorts; the first was PARADISUS PLAYA CONCHAL Hotel, a 5 star inclusive resort. The food, service and activities available were outstanding and accommodated single, couples and families alike. I would highly recommend this facility. Our second resort stay was at the 5 star ARENAL TABACON GRAND SPA THERMAL RESORT. It required a bus ride to the higher elevations toward the volcano area, you could see the change in the eco system as you rode, which gave you the feeling of being in a jungle as you looked around; every plant was giant size! The hot water falls and pools exceeded my imagination, they were spectacular. Some members of our group took a trip repelling down the mountains through the water falls; something I want to go back and do. This resort was a bit further away from the airport and required a twisting ride to and from, but was worth the trek. Overall, it was one of the most fun vacations I have ever been on. Thanks Reko Tours for helping put together this memorable trip!

The resort GRAND BAHIA PRINCIPE, GOLDEN CLUB in Punta Cana was absolutely wonderful. I don't have enough words to express how wonderful the staff was. The only issue that we ran into was that we had to pay a $10 tax to get into the country. We were told that typically it is already added into your package when you book through tour companies. We didn't know to expect it or what we were paying, so it threw us for a loop. Later into the trip we were also told that we had to pay a $20 exit fee. Once we arrived back at the airport and went through customs, we were not charged. We were relieved. For future if you have clients going to countries like that, I would recommend letting them know ahead of time or charging the fee in the price so they don't have to worry about it once they get there. They are not so friendly at customs when you are asking them to explain what you are paying. Thanks. Tarona Guy

Reko Tours arranged two vacations for my wife Rafaela and we were introduced to the Dominican Republic. We are travel agents and we take FAM trips and 3 vacations a year not including my yachting trips as the owner of a yacht brokerage firm. This last vacation in March 2008 was 10 nights at the Oceanblue Hotel in Punta Cana. We requested a balcony room overlooking the beach. We were given the ELITE building #10. The room had a balcony overlooking palm trees and the ocean. There was an attractive couch that served as a place to lounge or sit to dine on a table set in front. Room service provided excellent food with very professional waiters. The jacuzzi was an added pleasure in a well appointed bathroom. The pool was very accessible from building 10 as was the beach. The dining rooms had various themes which permitted you to vary the menu. The grounds were well groomed and attractively decorated. I am pleased to recommend George Tsapelas and his travel agency Reko Tours who represent superb hotels on all continents.

We are back from Peru and had a great time. Learned a lot about Peru from our tour guides and seeing all the ancien ruins. I have over 600 pictures and they are breath taking.

My father has been to Carabela. He says it is nicer, more restaurants, bars, more choice in general, and the beach is nicer, 900m of water beachfront and is more secluded.

Hi Steve:
I wish to mention that our trip to Santo Domingo
and to the Barcelo Capella Resort was a great
experience. We arrived on March 7th and stayed at the Resort
until March 13th (Returned on March 13th).
We had our transfer to the Hotel and back to the
Airport without any problem and our stay at the
Resort was wonderful. The Hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are
comfortable . The gardens are very well manicured and
the Personnel at the Hotel treat their guests like
Royalty. Service at the Restaurants was really good
and food was fine. They have done a very good job
at the beach and it was clean and the
environment was pleasant. We hope that we can come
back sometime soon!!!

We had a terrific time in Punta Cana at the Punta Cana Grand dates 3/16/2007 – 3/23/2007.
I am glad we took your recommendation and choose the Punta Cana Grand.
The hotel is well maintained. The room was very spacious and comfortable for me and my 3 teenagers – 19,16,15.
We loved the variety of cultures and countries in this hotel - many Europeans and many Canadians.
The food was great at the buffet and the restaurants. The service was very accommodating.
The beach was lovely and so were the 3 pools.
Your package was organized very well.
Your company did a great job with organizing our vacation.
I didn’t have to worry about the flights, transfers and the hotel. Everything was taken care off.

Hi Vicky,.... just returned Thursday evening. Our trip was Wonderful!!!. The transfers were excellent, hotel's and tours just great. Your contact's in Peru were very, very good.
Machu Pichu and Cusco were wonderful. What an experience to have visited there. If you need me for a reference for anyone who would like to take this trip, I would be glad to give them inside info. (mostly referring to shopping, Machu Piccu, etc.).
Also, for your info, the weight you can carry in Peru on domestic flights is two bags p/p of 23 kilos each...( my husband says roughly 50 lbs per bag.) That was one of my problems, I didn't get the good buys in Machu Pichu because I thought I couldn't carry it on the plane, but when we got to the airport and checked with the flight attendant, she told us we could have brought more. That's what the flight attendant told us anyway. You might want to check on this to be exact. I know that conflicts with what someone told you about 25 lb check in on domestic flights within Peru.
